Prime bullocks and heifers a more mixed show once again would be dearer throughout quality handy weights exceptiona­ly short of requiremen­ts. Heifers sold to 248p pkg (twice) for Limousins from JH and NT Turnbull, Meadowend, Clackmanna­n and W Pettigrew, Faskine, Airdrie to D Campbell and Son, Butcher, Ancaster Square, Callander and WW Wales Ltd, Butcher, Kilmarnock and to a whopping £1616 for a Charolais from Harold Greer, Gelvan View, Kinross. All classes of lambs especially 42 kilo plus were sharer on the week. Top price of the day went to G Whyte, Pett, Muthill for a 50 kilo Beltex X lamb at £111. Top price per kilo went to Doune Farms, West Lundie at 232ppkg for a pair of Beltex lambs at 47 kilos.
