Louts’sentence is deferred yet again

-

Sentence has been further deferred on a foul-mouthed duo who caused a disturbance at a Stirling area campsite.

Jacqueline Aitken (41) and 38-year-old Andrew Miller behaved in a threatening and abusive manner while staying at Cobleland Campsite in Gartmore.

The duo, both of Bilsland Close in Glasgow, admitted shouting, swearing and uttering menacing remarks.

Stirling Sheriff Court heard last month how at around 10pm on May 5 a loud argument between the pair broke out while they were within a tent.

A family with a 10-year-old child camping nearby made a complaint to staff and as a result a lady who works there approached Aitken and Miller to speak to them about the noise.

They were both sitting within a vehicle at this point and when the woman, who is 61 years old, attempted to open the car door Miller said“don’t touch my car”and“who do you think you are, the police?”Aitken then added:“Just remember. You don’t know where I live but I know where you live.”

The woman left but after further reports of noise coming from the foul-mouthed pair later on police were contacted. When officers arrived Miller continued to act in an aggressive manner and while within a police vehicle he shouted“you’re f ****** murdered”and“you fat b **** ”at his co-accused.

Aitken made no reply after being cautioned and charged while Miller said:“It didn’t happen. I deny it.”

The case was continued last month for reports to be prepared and when they returned to the dock on Wednesday morning Stirling Sheriff Court heard how full reports on Miller had been compiled but not on Aitken — although this was through no fault of her own.

The case was continued for four weeks.
