To celebrate the return of Bloody Scotland, the country’s top crime writing festival and a highlight of Stirling’s social calendar, we are giving you the chance to win tickets.

And this week you could find yourself in the company of Val McDermid, who in the 30 years since her first novel Report for Murder, has become one of the country’s most popular crime authors.

The Queen of Crime will be reminiscin­g about her career and talking about her new book Insidious Intent which sees the return of the much-loved Tony Hill and Carol Jordan.

Val will be appearing at the Albert Halls on Saturday, September 9 at 12.15pm and we have three pairs of tickets to be won.
