Heifers averaged 210ppkg selling to 238p for Limousins from A F Thomson and Son, Lammerview, Athelstaneford and to £1080 from the same farm. Black and White Bullocks averaged 156ppkg selling to 166p from A Jamieson and Sons, Lochnaw Home Farm, Stranraer and to £740 (twice) from I McMaster, Knocknain, Stranraer and M Crawford, Powguild, Cardenden. Overall sale (1533) averaged 174.85ppkg. Top price of the day went to F Cook and Sons, The Moor, Isle of Arran for a 47kilo Beltex X Texel at £105 which also topped the sale at 223ppkg.
