She demanded that they should return to the pub to apologise – and take enough money to cover the cleaning and a new fire certificate.

The post outlined that one of the vandals had left a mobile phone behind, adding that if there was no apology she would access it and post texts, pictures and videos “all over the place”.

She continued: “Did you actually think that we were as stupid as your wee troop and not have CCTV in the whole place.

“Another thing, you must have forgotten that a punter knew who you were.

“Oh aye, and after I’ve done all that I will be having a wee visit to your house and show you how much we appreciated it.”

A picture containing a group of young people was then posted on the Facebook page, asking people to name and shame those in the photo. The Observer has been told that those responsible have apologised for their actions and money has been provided to pay for a clean-up job and repairs.

The Cross Keys’ front door remained wide open yesterday (Tuesday) as staff continued to air the place.

The bar manager declined to speak to the Observer about the incident. Police say they have not received any reports in relation to the matter.
