‘You may have cost a poor guy his job’

- Robert Fairnie

Young people who trashed a Stirling pub have been slammed by an irate bar manager.

The Observer understands that a crowd of eight to ten teenagers caused considerable damage to the interior of the Cross Keys, at the bottom of Queen Street, on Friday evening.

They closed a door to the lounge area and set off a fire extinguisher, spraying foam and powder all over the room.

A Facebook account, which appears to be linked to bar manager Mary Graham, said: “You’ve not only cost us a small fortune to have expert cleaners called in as the powder is everywhere – and that includes in the air-con unit – but you may have cost a poor guy his f ****** job.”
