Food and drink focus at STEP

An event designed to help businesses in the food and drink sector grow is coming to Stirling.

Sustainabl­e Stirling will see a number of expert speakers deliver top tips and advice during a freeto-attend session on Wednesday, September 27.

The event is being run at Stirling Enterprise Park by STEP Scotland and Business Gateway Stirling from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

VisitScotl­and’s industry developmen­t manager Janie Neumann will talk about how to give businesses a competitiv­e edge while Louisa Coursey, project manager for Zero Waste Scotland, will offer advice on how to make food and drink go further.

Fergus Moore and Scott Kennedy, founders of Glasgow-based Revive Eco will tell the story behind their green business which recycles used coffee grounds to produce high-value bio-oils, biofuel and biofertili­ser.

Stirling’s own Denvir Marketing will also be present to discuss sustainabl­e marketing in a digital future.
