Sentence wait for attacker

A Stirling man who assaulted two ex-partners has been ordered to return to court.

Sentence has been deferred on George McCallum Grant (24) until October 31 for another sheriff to preside over the matter.

The Cowane Street resident repeatedly struck and punched one woman on the head during a disturbance at an address on Scott Street in Raploch on December 7 last year. He also pushed her on the body and seized a set of keys from her hand, to her injury.

On various occasions between May 1 and June 19 this year, at his home address, he assaulted another woman by punching her on the body, kicking her on the body and burning her with a lit cigarette.
