Launch of cut-price films for seniors

Vue Stirling is launching exclusive screenings for the over 60s.

With their new offering Seniors Club, customers aged 60-plus will be able to enjoy the best of big screen entertainm­ent for £3.99 every Thursday lunchtime.

A mixture of new releases and classics is planned so there is something to appeal to everyone and all tickets are accompanie­d with a hot drink and biscuit.

The opening line-up in September includes Edgar Wright’s highly acclaimed Baby Driver, which stars Jon Bernthal, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey; War for the Planet of the Apes and the hilarious Pakistani comedy The Big Sick.

Vue’s Allison Dryden said:“We’re excited to offer the senior screenings and are looking forward to welcoming everyone to their local cinema. It’s a great reason for them to get together with friends to enjoy some fantastic films on the big screen, in the best seat in the house.”
