Flu clinics The annual flu vaccinatio­n clinics at Bridge of Allan Health Centre will be on Tuesday October 17 and Thursday October 19. Contact the practice as soon as possible to book an appointmen­t. Appointmen­ts for the vaccine will be limited following this. The flu vaccine is available to everyone over 65 years or under 65 if you are pregnant; an unpaid carer or have a condition such as asthma, diabetes or any other long-term illness. Clinic dates have also been arranged for children aged 2-5 years old who are not attending school – please contact the Health Centre to arrange an appointmen­t on (01786) 833210 (option 5). If you are under 65 years and do not come into any of the above categories but wish the vaccinatio­n you should enquire at your local pharmacy. Community Council Greener Cambusbarr­on – tickets are on sale now for the annual raffle to raise funds for the plants and hanging baskets in the village. The village has had another excellent floral display over the summer, however we need funds to do this again next year.
