Health Centre The annual flu vaccination clinics will be on Tuesday, October 17 and Thursday, October 19. Please contact the practice as soon as possible to book your appointment. The centre encourages everyone eligible for the vaccination to attend as there will be limited appointments following this to offer the vaccine. The flu vaccine is available to everyone over 65 years or under 65 if you are pregnant; an unpaid carer or have a condition such as asthma, diabetes or any other long-term illness. Clinic dates have also been arranged for children aged two-five years old who are not attending school. Please contact the health centre to arrange an appointment on 01786 833210 (option 5). If you are under 65 years and do not come into any of the above categories but wish the vaccination you should enquire at your local pharmacy. In line with the Scottish Government programme, if you are aged 70-79 (excluding 75 year olds as at September 2, 2017) you are entitled to the shingles vaccination which can be given at the same time as your flu vaccination.
