St Blane’s Church Sunday morning service and Sunday school will be at 10am. Creche facilities for babies are available during the morning service. In order to replace the central heating system in the church, there will be no heating for six weeks. Services will be shorter, with an extended time for fellowship afterwards in the hall. Dunblane Cathedral Weekly midweek service will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at the usual time of 11am. As with all services, all will be made most welcome to attend this short time of worship. On Friday, there will be a memorial service at 11am for the late Miss Elizabeth Bruce. On Saturday, the Society of Friends of Dunblane Cathedral meets for its annual festival. The day begins at 12.15pm with a buffet lunch in the hall for members of the society. At 2pm there will be an act of worship in the cathedral, followed at 2.30pm by a concert marking the Quincenten­ary of the Luther Reformatio­n. The concert will consist of choral and instrument­al music from the time of, or inspired by, Martin Luther. The concert is open to everyone. Admission is free. The AGM of the society will be held in the hall at 3.30pm. Sunday worship begins at 10.30am.
