Allan’s Primary School is staging its own Christmas Market this month in a bid to raise much-needed funds.
The school’s fundraising committee will host the market at the Holy Trinity Church Hall in Albert Place on Thursday November 30 from 6.30pm until 9pm.
The market will include over twenty different stalls, including one for the school itself.
Organisers are looking to raise enough funds to contribute towards an overhaul of the school play area.
Sara Speirs, of the Allan’s Primary School Fundraising Committee, said:“This is all about the school and the community.
“It’s the first time we have done this and we are quite excited about it.
“We would love to repeat it again next year. The more people we can get interested the better.”
The market will feature over twenty stalls, involving local businesses selling Christmas craft products.
Sara added:“If it’s successful we plan to expand it next year with a view to taking it to the Albert Halls.”
