MP’scard contest

-

Primary schools across the area have responded in numbers to Stirling MP Stephen Kerr’s Christmas card competition.

The MP asked primary pupils to create a Christmas card for him this festive season.

Mr Kerr is currently looking at the entries and the design picked will be announced shortly.

Hundreds of entries were submitted and every one will be looked at and considered by a panel of judges from Mr Kerr’s office headed by the MP himself.

The design selected will be used on the card to be sent out by Mr Kerr this Christmas.

Every child who enters will receive a certificate and the winner will be presented with a prize by Mr Kerr.

The MP said: “Thank you so much to everyone who took the time and effort to send in a design.

“They were all extremely good and so bright and colourful.

“Choosing one from all of them is going to be hard work but very enjoyable.

“It was lovely to receive the entries from so many arriving in my office, it made opening the post a pleasure.”
