Moo-ving per­for­mances

A group have come to­gether to form a choir which will be mak­ing fund-rais­ing ap­pear­ances around the area.

Forth Val­ley Coun­try­side Ini­tia­tive branch of RHET – Royal High­land Ed­u­ca­tional Trust – has been prac­tis­ing un­der the ba­ton of choir mas­ter Alis­tair War­wick.

Called RHET Fac­tor, they are ready to head out carol singing and will be ap­pear­ing: Novem­ber 16, Dob­bies, Stir­ling, 5-7pm; Novem­ber 18, Dob­bies, Stir­ling, 2-4pm (guest ap­pear­ance of Val­lerie the singing cow); Novem­ber 24, Smiddy, Blair­drum­mond 5-7pm , and De­cem­ber 9, Dob­bies, Stir­ling, 2-4pm (guest ap­pear­ance of Val­lerie singing cow).

RHET was estab­lished in 1999 and pro­vides free re­sources, farm vis­its and class­room speak­ers al­low­ing chil­dren to learn more about Scot­tish farm­ing, food and coun­try­side.

In the 2016-2017 aca­demic year, RHET Forth Val­ley or­gan­ised 50 farm vis­its, 63 class­room speak­ers and a food and farm­ing event for P6 pupils.

Money raised from the carol singing will be used help pay trans­port costs of chil­dren trav­el­ling to RHET events.
