A happy afternoon was spent with songs, music and stories from Fine Fettle, followed by a cuppa, a blether and the drawing of the raffle. Jim Miller thanked the group of six ladies, saying that he was sure that the audience were now feeling in fine fettle themselves. The Christmas Lunch is in the Winnock Hotel at noon for 12.30pm on Tuesday, December 5. A good turnout of members were entertaine­d by Mrs Alison Nicol from Bearsden Bakery who gave an entertaini­ng demonstrat­ion of ideas to help them create colourful cake toppers and decoration­s for Christmas. The ladies also had the opportunit­y to decorate a cupcake to take home which was much enjoyed.
