A Stirling–based dementia charity is being supported by a housing developer to raise funds over the festive period.

Ogilvie Homes is using its website and social media channels to raise money this Christmas to help Town Break, based in Evans Business Centre.

The company has set up an online advent calendar on its website where people can upload a photo of a cherished memory with a chance to win a Secret Santa gift.

Ogilvie Homes will donate fifty pence for every like, share or comment on any of its social-media platforms using #allthingschristmas and hopes to raise £1000 for Town Break.

The charity supports people living with dementia.

Town Break provides various activities to help dementia sufferers stay connected to their communities across Stirling area, including day clubs, drop–in coffee mornings and friendship groups, as well as cognitive stimulation therapy and self-management groups.

Steve Lloyd, managing director, Ogilvie Homes, said: “We’re hoping to raise as much money as possible this year for Town Break as part of our continued commitment to supporting our local communities.

“The charity does a fantastic job in supporting people with dementia, making a huge difference to their daily lives.”
