We asked readers on our Facebook page on Wednesday about the problems they were experienci­ng with the subzero temperatur­es and icedup pavements and roads and here’s a few of more than 200 replies.

on) most of Stirling’s pavements in particular the totally impractica­l smooth slabs in town centre which look pretty but are slippy when wet never mind icy! And the Auld Brig as always.
