Education summit
A ‘regional summit’ is to be held at Alva Academy on Monday, January 22 in preparation for an education Regional Improvement Plan.
It will be presented by senior Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) analyst David Istance and Education Scotland strategic director Graeme Logan.
Also in attendance will be chief inspector for Education Scotland Gayle Gorman, cabinet secretary for education John Swinney and senior Scottish Government civil servants.
The audience will be made up of headteachers from across the Clackmannanshire, Stirling, Falkirk and West Lothian local authority areas.
