-

A group created for parents of twins and triplets raised £900 at their festive Christmas party.

The Dunblane-based club offers activities and events such as talks from support services such as first aid for children, speech therapists for parents of twins and multiples as well as those expecting.

They held the party at the Braeport Centre in Dunblane on Sunday, December 17.

The day included snacks and drinks, entertainment, a raffle draw and a visit from Santa who gave each child a present.

Tesco Dunblane donated a wide selection of biscuits and cakes plus a £15 gift card for snacks for the children.

The group raffled off a total of 37 prizes which raised £900 for the club.

Melanie Harrison from the group said:“We were very fortunate to have so many local companies support our group and couldn’t have done this without their help and support so we are very grateful .”

The group has also been selected to be on the ‘Community Matters’charity collection at Waitrose, Stirling, which saw them earn a further £400 to be used to subsidise activities that it offers throughout the year.
