Nintendo Switch I can only imagine spending time in prison is a soulless, repetitive and endlessly dull existence.
If that’s the case, then the frustratingly monotonous The Escapists 2 captures all of this really well.
The first instalment of the prison-break simulator came out back in 2015 and felt about as much fun as a
weekend stuck in the slammer.
This time, the scope is bigger — you can even try to escape from a space colony — with timed levels attempting to raise the stakes.
But the infuriating control system and painfully-slow build-up will have you seeking solitary confinement.
