A night of jazz music

Award-winning quartet Square One will be joined by a top American saxophonist for an evening of modern jazz.
The Glasgow band are known for their heavy-hitting melodic compositions and energised live performances – and they will be joined by top-tier musician Andy Middleton on-stage at the Tolbooth.
Over a 30-year career he has collaborated with jazz greats such as Kenny Wheeler and Randy Brecker.
Together they present a programme of colourful and engaging original music, much of it specially composed for this tour.
Square One features Joe Williamson on guitar, Peter Johnstone on piano, David Bowden, who is Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the Year 2017, on double bass, and Stephen Henderson on drums. The seated show will take place on March 11 from 7.30pm. Tickets are £12/£10 and available from culturestirling.org.
