Several specialists will be recruited on the back of Stirling-based utilities firm RSKW undergoing a merger.

The company, who have offices at Stirling University Innovation Park, will be hiring hydrologists, hydrogeologists and water management specialists in the coming weeks.

RSKW provide management and technical consultancy solutions to utilities, energy, transport and industrial sectors.

And they announced earlier this month that they have merged with environmental and engineering services firm RSK – resulting in the transfer of all employees.

This takes their head count to 2100 across 80 different offices.

Andrew Gunning, RSKW partner, said: “The merger will provide an excellent opportunity to grow the Stirling office and we have some exciting plans to take the office forward over the next few years.

“The expansion will begin with the recruitment of hydrologists, hydrogeologists and water management specialists in the coming weeks.”

The firm also announced that they had acquired two new businesses – CJ Associates and Up and Under Group.

CJ Associates operate the latest in soil sampling, equipment and techniques while Up and Under Group provides inspections and surveys, along with repair and maintenance services.
