Sunday morning worship is at 10.30am. Cathedral Kids do not meet, as this is school midterm. Following the service, Prayers for Wholeness and Healing will be held in the Choir. All welcome. At 3pm, there will be an informal concert when Ursula Bambuch, soprano and Simon Oberst, bass, make a return visit to Dunblane to join Cathedral Organist Kevin Duggan for a programme of music by Mendelssoh­n, Schubert, Fauré, Martin and Dvorak. The concert begins at 3pm. Admission is free with a retiring collection. On Monday, February 12 the guild meets at 2pm for a drop-in session in the halls. All welcome. Tuesday, February 13 is Shrove Tuesday. In the hall is a fun family afternoon of craft and pancake making. Donations welcome. Proceeds in aid of CLIC Sargent. There will be service at 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 14 for Ash Wednesday. Councillor’s surgeries Councillor Alasdair Tollemache will be in the Burgh Chambers tonight (Wednesday) at 7pm and in Dunblane Library on Saturday, February 10 at 10am. Dunblane Civic Society The talk by Alan McKirdy on The Geology and Landsapes of Scotland will be held on Monday, February 12 at 7.30pm in the temporary venue of the Leighton Room, Cathedral Halls, not the Braeport Centre as originally planned. The late change of venue is due to circumstan­ces completely beyond the society’s control. All welcome, visitors’ admission is £2. The society would like to thank the staff at the Cathedral Halls for providing accommodat­ion at such short notice. Without their help the talk would have to be cancelled.
