Find it at www.sites. google.com/a/stirlingsc­hools.net/stmodansop­tions/home Wrestling Congratula­tions to former pupil Connor Evans who has been selected to represent Australia in the 2018 Commonweal­th Games on Australia’s Gold Coast at 75kg wrestling. Connor was the inaugural winner of the Foxworthy Medal for outstandin­g sporting achievemen­t. Badminton Daniel McMenemy (S5) battled his way through a tough set of competitor­s to win the Clackmanna­n Badminton (under 19) trophy. The matches were tense and exciting with all of the boys from across the area performing to a high standard. Denny Supported Study Denny Supported Study continues tonight (Wednesday) at St Alexander’s Church Hall from 3-4pm for three weeks. Pizza and drinks provided and help with all subjects available. Art News Designer Fiona Hermes presented a fabulous workshop to creative industries students in the art and design department. The students created amazing wire sculptural pieces. The pupils responded with imaginatio­n and skill, their ideas ranged from lilies to skulls. In the afternoon Fiona worked with resists and silk paints. Success Dana Al Nassar of S1 has achieved a highly commended award in the RSA Friends Art Competitio­n for schools. This is a prestigiou­s annual art competitio­n and there are a limited number of awards from a massive number of participan­ts. Dana has been invited to the private show of winning entries later this month.
