Dinners to fund U15 rugby

Sporting celebrities will be attending dinners in aid of Stirling County under 15 team next month. Money raised during the events will fund the players’ tour of France in April. The dinner at Stirling’s Hotel Colessio on Saturday, March 31 will feature Scotland rugby stand off Finn Russell and the compere will be Dougie Vipond.

Finn Russell from Bridge of Allan, attended Wallace High School and currently plays with Glasgow Warriors.

Scotland football manager Alex McLeish will also be at Bridge of Allan’s Royal Hotel on Friday April 13. During his time as a league player he won 77 caps for Scotland.

The Stirling County U15 players will be touring France from April 4 to 11.

Their intinerary will include Toulon and Lyon. During the tour they will be playing local rugby teams.
