First meeting is overshadowed by war

Stirling Town Council met for the first time in its new headquarters, the Municipal Buildings, Corn Exchange Road, exactly 100 years ago.

Stirling Council, in January last year, moved out of the Municipal Building which has been taken over by CodeBase as a centre for hi-tech start-ups.
