Festival to return for ninth year

-

Family-friendly festival Doune the Rabbit hole is returning for its ninth year – with a soon-to-be announced line-up.

The arts and music event will run at Lake of Menteith, Cardross Estate, from Friday, July 13 to Sunday, July 15.

There will be exclusive musical performances from a range of UK and international acts alongside a number of independent artists.

The event will also feature arts and crafts workshops and there will be a quiet, family camping area.

Among the highlights last year were LA-based punk band Ho99i9, a DJ set from snooker legend Steve Davis and a show from New Yorkers Big Thief.

The festival, which has a capacity of around 1000 people, made its debut at Doune Castle in 2010 but has since moved venue.
