New Porsche centre opens in Fair City
Scotland welcomes its fourth Porsche showroom this week, when Porsche Centre
Perth opens for business. This latest investment in the Porsche Cars GB sales network sees the Scottish city join Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh in representing the renowned German sports car marque north of the border.
Occupying a one and a half acre site on Tweed Place beside the busy A9, the new Centre features space to display 13 new cars inside, plus a dedicated vehicle handover area.
A wide selection of Approved pre-owned cars are also available for inspection and test drive.
The workshop area offers eight ramps and two Direct Dialogue bays, designed to

support on the spot diagnosis and consultation.
A number of E-Hybrid charging points are also available.
Customers can enjoy a variety of facilities on top, including a Specification Lounge which allows visitors to experience the multitude of features and benefits of individual cars, and a hospitality area serving fresh coffee and refreshments.
The new Porsche Centre Perth is more than a point of sale – its prime position means it is effectively a window into the world of the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer, a company that has fascinated car enthusiasts for 70 years since 1948.
And just as Porsche cars embody long-held principles of intelligent performance, so too the new building incorporates cutting edge architectural design and energy efficiency measures.
“We are very excited by this opportunity and anticipate that the new Centre will bring in customers from around the country and help generate more than £20m for the local economy,” commented Peter Vardy, Chief Executive of Peter Vardy Group.
“We have created more than 40 full-time positions, all fully Porsche-trained and focused on delivering the Porsche experience.
“In addition, during the construction period, around 140 additional jobs were supported.”
“I am pleased to welcome Porsche Centre Perth to the brand’s network in the UK and Ireland, and further expand representation to our Scottish enthusiasts,” commented Alexander Pollich, Managing Director, Porsche Cars GB.
“Just a glance at our current model range clearly shows this is a very exciting time for everyone associated with Porsche, and we have further innovative sports cars yet to come.
“This development is a great example of the investment our partners are making across the business to deliver a first class Porsche experience, now and into the future.”
The opening of Porsche Centre Perth coincides with first deliveries of new Cayenne.
The Porsche Cayenne is the sports car among sports utility vehicles, and the latest, third generation of the successful all-wheel drive, four door sports car is a completely new development, combining typical Porsche performance with everyday versatility.
Powerful turbocharged engines, a new eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic gearbox,
new chassis systems and an innovative display and control concept with total connectivity combine to raise sport and comfort in the new Cayenne to a new level.
