Miners Welfare Social Club Bingo on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8pm. Community council Meets in Bannockbur­n Community Centre on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm. Stirling Christadel­phian Church Bible hour is held on Sunday from 2.15pm with Sunday school at the same time. Allan Church Sunday service is at 11.15am led by Rev Ken Russell with Welcome Team 4 on duty. Sunday school and creche available. Anyone interested in their children attending Sunday school please speak to Kirsty MacGowan (Sunday school superinten­dent). Weekly Tuesday coffee club from 10-11.30am in Allan Church Hall. Team 2 on duty serving home baking served with tea or coffee. All proceeds from this coffee morning will go to Christian Aid. There will be a home baking stall to help raise extra funds. Tonight (Wednesday) the board and session meet at 7.15pm. Tomorrow (Thursday) prayer group meets from 2-3pm in Allan Church Hall. On Sunday, May 13 there is a Special Prayer Service for the General Assembly in Alloa Ludgate Church from 2-4pm. Lunch club is on Monday, May 14 from noon2pm, all members of the community welcome, particular­ly the elderly and anyone who lives alone. Flower show This year’s show is on Saturday, September 1 at Allan Church Hall. Concert Strathcarr­on Singers will be performing in the Albert Hall on Saturday, May 26 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 available at the door on the night or from Mary Woollhead at Allan Church. Spring fling On Saturday, May 19 from 11am-1pm Bannockbur­n Primary School is holding a Spring Fling in the grounds of the school with lots of activites when the kids can also soak the teacher. Food also available. Ladywell Church Service on Sunday at 11.15am will include a baptism. Rev Liz Robertson will lead the service. Sunday school is held during the service. Parish Church Sunday worship takes place at the usual time of 11am and will be conducted by Rev Dan Harper. There will be a creche during the service and coffee Fellowship takes place in the Chalmers Hall afterwards. Fair will take place on Saturday, May 12 from 10am-12.30pm in the school. Entry costs £1.50 for adults and 50p for children which includes tea/coffee and biscuits. There will be lots of fun for the whole family: coconut shy, bouncy castle, cake and candy, second hand toys and books, hoopla and hook a duck.
