Norrieston Church The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated this Sunday, May 20, starting

at the slightly earlier time of 9.50am. The service will be conducted by the minister, the Rev Ellen Larson Davidson and will be followed by tea and coffee in the Church Hall. The Traidcraft stall will be available for the purchase of a wide range of goods from the developing world as their producers try to lift themselves and their communitie­s out of poverty. Visitors always welcome. In the afternoon of the same day, Messy Church, in the wider local area, will celebrate Pentecost and the birthday of the Church with a Big Birthday Party in Gartmore Village Hall, starting at 2pm. Everyone welcome. Christian Aid collectors are reminded that they should return their collection bags to the church on Sunday. Many thanks to all the collectors and to everyone who has contribute­d. Gardening Society Thanks go to all who contribute­d, helped and bought at last Saturday’s plant sale. Sufficient funds were raised to ensure the flower show will continue this year.
