Miners Welfare Social Club Bingo on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8pm. Community council Meets in Bannockbur­n Community Centre on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm. The AGM will take place at the next meeting tomorrow (Thursday). Stirling Christadel­phian Church hour is held on Sunday from 2.15pm with Sunday school at the same time. Flower show This year’s show is on Saturday, September 1, at Allan Church Hall. A schedule of items for the competitio­ns will be printed in the church June magazine but there will be a copy of the schedule pinned up in the large hall next week. Allan Church Service on Sunday at 11.15am will be led by Rev Ken Russell, Welcome Team 2 on duty. Sunday school and creche available. Anyone interested in their children attending Sunday school please speak to Kirsty MacGowan (Sunday school superinten­dent). The weekly Tuesday coffee club is from 10-11.30am in Allan Church Hall and Team 3 will be serving home baking with tea or coffee, all welcome. On Monday, June 11 from noon-1.30pm, Community Lunch Club is at Allan Church Hall. All members of the community welcome, particular­ly the elderly and anyone who lives alone. Cost £2.50 includes homemade soup, filled roll, tea/coffee and biscuits. Next board and session meeting is on Wednesday, June 13 at 7.15pm. All members are encouraged to attend. Parish Church On Sunday, the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated at 11am and 6.30pm. Both services will be conducted by Rev Dan Harper. There will be a creche during the service and coffee fellowship takes place in the Chalmers Hall afterwards. The retiring collection will go towards the work of the Red Cross. The deadline for the July/August magazine is Monday, June 11. St Saviour’s Episcopal Church Sunday 8am Eucharist, 10am sung Eucharist. Young Church and creche take place in the church hall then join the main service later. Coffee/ tea are served in the church hall after the 10am service. On Wednesdays at 11am in the choir vestry there is a quiet, peaceful service with coffee/ tea afterwards. Uniforms The William Stewart Foundation will have a donation station for outgrown school uniform at Cambusbarr­on Gala Day on Saturday, June 9. The charity supports orphans in Malawi. The Carolina Internatio­nal Chorale from North Carolina, USA will give a lunchtime recital in the church at 1.15pm tomorrow (Thursday). Donations will go to the organ fund. The church will hold a coffee morning on Friday, June 29 hosted by the social committee. It is proposed to have a produce stall selling home made items eg jam, home baking and sweets etc. along with a book stall for good quality cookery books and a bric a brac stall. The coffee morning will be from 10.30 am-1pm, entry £4. All welcome. Holy Trinity Episcopal Church On Friday, June 8, Holy Communion will take place at 11am and on Sunday, Holy Communion will be at 8.30am and Sung Eucharist for #music Sunday at 10.30am. Also on Friday, June 8 at 7.30pm, the Ensemble from the St Louis Children’s Choir, USA, will perform. This is the second in the series of concerts to mark the church’s 140th birthday.
