Queues after cow strays on to M9
A stray cow caused traffic queues on Monday morning when she wandered on to the M9.
The animal wandered on to the hard shoulder between Bannockburn and Craigforth around 7.45am on Monday.
Traffic was forced to slow and queues were back to the Bannockburn cut-off.
Vehicles finally began to move once again at around 8am after the cow was ushered away from danger.
Traffic Scotland quipped on Twitter: “The cow has been mooooved back to the field. Queues remain but should hopefully ease.”
