First flight

A blue tit chick about to leave the nest for the first time. The picture was taken in the back garden of Ian Mackenzie’s home in Elgin Drive, Stirling. The little bird was one of four blue tit chicks which fledged from the bird box in Mr Mackenzie’s garden.
