Gala fun in the sun

There was a schedule of afternoon entertainm­ent and activities for the crowd of around 200, including a performanc­e from local singer Olivia Conroy as well as stalls, kids’ games,inflatable­s and rides. The event also included a licensed bar. Melissa Nelson from Cambusbarr­on Community Events Group, who organised the day, said:“The gala was a great success this year, firstly with the weather holding till the end of the day for us and secondly the fabulous turnout from the village.

“The committee would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the year to make 2018 gala day happen.”
