Teacher touches down

Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum

The Stirling Smith welcomed Ilana Sophia – an established teacher of the art of mime – to the venue for a special workshop. She offered youngsters the chance to hone their skills during a free taster session at the venue.

David Smith, learning officer, said:“We were just delighted to offer to share Ilana’s great enthusiasm for the astonishing art of mime.

“It brings out so many skill development areas in young people. The kids just loved their taster session.”
