Summer Showcase: Thanks to all pupils and staff who stitched, painted and collected costumes for the school show. Pupils in Mrs McMenemy’s 1/9 art class produced Pop Art tshirts and dresses, the Fashion and Doodle club produced pop art pieces. Mrs Robertson, Mrs Ramsay and Mrs Harris were busy on the sewing machines making 50s skirts and 20s style headbands. Mrs McFarlane joined this team to help with organisation and styling. Many of the pupils who live in the art department at lunchtime gave up hours of their own time to participate in making and organising costumes. Staff, pupils and parents were also involved in sourcing and advising. The pupils on stage looked confident and full of energy in their fashion items. Sports News: Congratulations to Amy Addison S2 and Daniel Addison (who has just left St Modans) on being selected for this year’s junior Bowling Triple Crown in Guildford. Also well done to Matthew Crossan who made the squad again this year just missing out on the teams.
