School At the Primary 7 Leavers’ Assembly in the school hall last Thursday, parents, guests, staff and pupils enjoyed watching, through the media of film, a take off of the Oscar Awards for 2018 transferred to Kippen Primary School P7 pupils. It was well done, entertaining and interesting, as was their finale the hearily sung Leaving. Headteacher Mrs Carole Logan warmly thanked the pupils and their teacher Mrs Stone before asking Mrs Dunlop to present this year’s awards: Senior Citizenship Trophy (Nicola Furay Memorial) Zara Mailer; Junior Citizenship Trophy (Ross Marshall Memorial) Duncan MacEwen; Connolly Cup for Sports Achievement, Murray Robb; and Caitlin Bradwell received a highly commended certificate for sportsmanship. Good wishes were expressed to each pupil as they received achievement certificates, a class photograph courtesy of Whyler Photographers, and a splendid class year book from the Parent Council, before refreshments were enjoyed by all.
