Cool for (meer) kats

-

Scotland has been basking in the sunshine over the last couple of weeks and visitors to Blair Drummond Safari Park have been making the most of the magnificent weather.

And, like the rest of us, some of the animals have been cooling off with an ice lolly.

Marketing manager Liz Gunn said: “We’ve enjoyed a great start to the school holidays and are told that the glorious weather is set to continue.

“There’s so much to do at the Safari Park and it’s difficult to fit it all in to a single visit, so we’re offering visitors the opportunity to upgrade their day tickets to a membership and many are choosing to do this. It makes perfect sense – a membership pays for itself in no time, and means that families can visit time and time again.

“Memberships are valid for a full year, so if you join now you’ll be able to visit as many times as you like all the way through to the start of the next summer holidays.”

Blair Drummond Safari Park is open seven days a week from 10am until 5.30pm. Set in over 120 acres on the outskirts of Stirling, with over 120 wild and exotic animals, a safari drive-thru, Sea Lion Presentation, giant play park, adventure play, boat trips, pedalos, amusement rides and BBQ area – there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained.

Annual memberships cost just £45 for children and £55 for adults. Infants aged 0-2 years are free.

The Observer has teamed up with the safari park again to offer readers the chance to win a family pass each week.

This week’s question is: How frequently can you visit the Safari Park with membership?

Send your answer, name, address and contact number to: Safari Park Competition, Stirling Observer, 34 Upper Craigs, Stirling, FK8 2DW. Usual Reach plc rules apply. The deadline is Monday, July 9, at 4pm.
