Thanks to all who supported the drama group and raised funds for Ehlers-Danios Support UK to help children suffering from this affliction. Dunblane Cathedral Midweek service will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at the usual time of 11am. This short service in the choir is open to all. On Saturday, July 7 the “Music at Midday” series continues with an organ recital by Alessandro Bianchi. Mr Bianchi is making a return visit to Dunblane on his tour of the UK. A retiring collection will be taken. There is the opportunit­y to have a light soup lunch in the hall after the recital. This is by donation, with all proceeds going to Strathcarr­on Hospice. The early morning family service begins at 9.15am on Sunday with morning worship at 10.30am. Tea and coffee are served in the hall at the close of the service. Councillor’s surgery Councillor Graham Houston will be in the Burgh Chambers on Saturday, July 7 at 10am. Senior Citizens The next coach trip is to Carlisle on Tuesday, July 31, leaving Dunblane at 9.30am with the usual pick-up points arriving the Toll, St Ninians, for 10am.
