Gascooker emergency
Firefighters were called to assist a family who found themselves locked out of their camper van – while a gas cooker was on inside.
A crew from Killin Fire Station rushed to Crianlarich to deal with the emergency shortly after 1pm on Wednesday.
The family encountered difficulty while stopped at the public car park opposite the police office in the village.
After arriving at the scene firefighters managed to gain access to the vehicle via a window – using what are described as the fire service as ‘small tools’ – before turning off the gas.
They left around half an hour later with the emergency dealt with.
