Eleanor brings top shoe range to the Lang Toon
A new quality shoe shop offering a truly unique shopping experience is opening its doors this week.
The Shoe Shop of Auchterarder in the town’s High Street will welcome its first customers today (Wednesday), August 15, and is offering top name brands and a service people can rely on.
Trusted brands such as Ara, Gabor, HB, Barker and Reiker line the shelves of the shop, along with a range of accessories, handbags and shoe cleaning products.
And the retail guru behind the new shop is Eleanor Aitken, who has been selling shoes to the residents of the Lang Toon for over 15 years.
Eleanor, who is Auchterarder born and bred, said: “I am really looking forward to opening the shop.
“I have been in the shoe trade for a long time, and we have quality brands and the service is something we pride ourselves on.”
Eleanor and her team of experts have all come from D&R Johnston which closed in the town earlier this year after decades of popularity.
The new business will open on Wednesday, with nibbles, fizz and a range of offers to enjoy on the day.
And the first customers through the door will be ahead of the fashion - as Eleanor has already got an autumn collection in store.
The Shoe Shop of Auchterarder is open Monday to Saturday, 9am until 5pm each day.
There is also a handy car park behind the shop for customers.
