High standard at Buchanan
The 72nd Buchanan Flower Show on Saturday in the Memorial Hall was well supported by the community with entries of a high standard.
Afternoon tea was served by the flower show committee and afterwards a raffle in aid of Robin House was held. The show, which was hailed a great success, concluded with an auction of entries.
Ruth Macpherson, a former teacher at Buchanan Primary School, gave the opening address and also presented the prizes to the winners.
