Uni reveals the life after school

-

The annual UCAS Higher Education Exhibition is coming to Stirling this September.

Young people can find out more about life after school at the University of Stirling event, supported by Skills Development Scotland (SDS), on Wednesday September 19.

The UCAS exhibition brings together representatives from higher and further education institutions in Scotland and elsewhere. They can offer advice as well as information on a variety of courses and learning pathways.

Careers advisor at SDS Aileen Crawford said: “This year’s UCAS Higher Education Exhibition gives young people and their parents the opportunity to find information about their options in the one place at the one time. It also gives them access to experts which is very valuable.

“At the event, there will be talks about writing a UCAS personal statement and alternative routes and pathways too.

“Choosing which course, university or career is one of the biggest decisions people make, so it is vital they have all the information to ensure that their decision is wellinformed.”

It will run from 9.30am until 3pm.
