Women’s group The opening meeting of the new session will be held tonight (Wednesday) at 7.30pm in the community centre. New members welcome to join for a musical evening. Ladywell Church Service on Sunday will be led by the Worship Group. Tomorrow (Thursday) the coffee morning is from 10am till noon. Monthly coffee mornings restart on Saturday, September 15 from 10am till noon. All welcome. There will be a beetle drive on Friday, September 21 at 7.30pm, at a cost of £2 per person. Murrayfiel­d UF Church Tea in the Park walking group meets in the car park of Ladywell Park at 2.30pm on Friday for a stroll round the park, a seat, a cuppa and a chat. \Bridge of Allan

Parish Church Sunday worship takes place at the usual time of 11am and will be include the celebratio­n of the Sacrament of Baptism. Sunday school meets at the usual time and there will be a creche. Coffee fellowship will be held in the Chalmers Hall afterwards. There will be services in Strathalla­n Court and Abbeyfield on Sunday at 2pm and 3pm respective­ly. There will be a meeting of the board and session on Monday, September 17 at 7.30pm in the Honeyman Hall. Lecropt Kirk Morning worship commences on Sunday at 11.30am. Sunday school meet in new hall at same time. Welcome team is John Crozier, Janice Mc Guinness, Douglas and Karen Shaw. Joint evening service at 6.30pm in St Blane’s Church, both services conducted by Rev Gary Caldwell. Church is open on Sunday, September 16 from 1-4pm as part of the Open Doors Day.
