Miners Welfare Social Club Bingo on Mondays and Wednesdays 8pm. Stirling Christadel­phian Church Bible hour is on Sundays from 2.15pm with Sunday school at the same time. Buttercup Dementia Cafe Meets in Allan Church Community Hall every Monday at 1.45-3.30pm. It helps people and their carers with socialisin­g and activities. There was a great turn out for the official opening on October 15. This is open to all members of the community. If you feel you know someone you think it might help in any way just bring them along, or come along yourself. All welcome to support the cafe. Murrayfiel­d UF Church Sunday’s service will be led by Rev Gary Barclay at 10.30am. The welcome team is Joan Martin and Mary Scott; the offering team is John Martin and Elizabeth Hastings. Sunday’s service will include the annual Gift Day offering, and teas and coffees will be served after the service. Connect Groups continue next week at their usual times. Tuesday Coffee Club is from 10-11.30am. Team 3 on duty. On Wednesday, October 31 there is a Pot Luck Supper in Allan Church Hall at 7pm. On November 10-11, there will be a display of memorabili­a and a flower festival to commemorat­e the end of World War One. The church is looking for someone who might loan a wooden rake. Parish Church Sunday worship takes place at the usual time of 11am and will be conducted by Rev Dan Harper. Sunday school meets as usual and there will be a creche.
