Free admission at Wallace Monument
The Wallace Monument (above) is offering free admission in celebration of St Andrew’s Day on Friday, November 30.
There will also be regular performances from a costumed actor throughout the day, bringing history to life and providing an insight intoWallace.
Visitors will also get the chance to take part in free nature-themed activities at the RSPB information stand and to learn more about wildlife and conservation in the Stirling area.
Across the weekend the Monument also has a‘Kids Go Free’offer. The family friendly attraction offers a number of interactive activities, including a free kids activity book and a collection of unique woodcarvings, which provide a fun way to learn about local history.
Each year, Stirling District Tourism, the charity which manages the monument, opens its doors for free to mark St Andrew’s Day.

Free admission applies to all admissions on Friday, November 30. There is also free admission for children aged 15 and under on Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2. Normal admission charges are applicable again from December 3.
