Two staff from Stirling have been honoured at the Care Visions Children’s Services annual long service awards.

The residentia­l child care provider and fostering agency has 30 small residentia­l homes across the country.

Lorna Landsborou­gh and Elizabeth Malley have been commended for 10 years and 15 years of service respective­ly with the organisati­on.

Lorna joined Care Visions in October 2008 as a residentia­l care worker and has worked at several locations across the Central Belt over the past 10 years.

Elizabeth joined the organisati­on in June 2003 as a residentia­l care worker and has also worked at across the Central Belt staying with her primary service over the past 15 years.

Lorna joins 10 other members of staff receiving awards for 10 years of service, with Elizabeth being joined by one other member of staff being commended for 15 years with Care Visions.

Children’s Services chief executive Cathy Jamieson said:“The ethos of Care Visions is to provide a therapeuti­c environmen­t for young people who need residentia­l care and foster care, with dedicated staff to nurture and support them. It is challengin­g work but hugely rewarding and we wanted to recognise the real commitment Lorna and Elizabeth have shown over the past 15 years with Care Visions.”
