A finalist on TV show‘Let it Shine’, Mark will sing at the second of two New Year’s Eve events at Stirling Castle’s Esplanade.

The singer/songwriter will perform a solo set before joining rock choir Soul Nation to get the party started before a fireworks display which will herald 2019.

Local band The Cobalts will also rock the castle with their 60s-inspired music and Capital Scotland DJ Fat Brestovca will keep revellers entertained with upbeat anthems and competitions.

There are two fireworks shows: an earlier one for families which starts at 7.45pm (gates open at 7.15pm) and finishes at 9.15pm and the main event at 10.45pm (gates open at 10.15pm), concluding at 12.15am.

The midnight fireworks display will light up both Stirling Castle and the Monument, choreographed to a Calvin Harris medley.

And the familyfriendly display at 9pm will be accompanied by songs chosen by young people in a vote on social media.
