CAMBUSBARR­ON WELLBEING SINGERS

Singing can improve our sense of wellbeing and happiness and help us to relax. The new group invites people of all ages to come along to sing together and make new friends in an informal setting at Bruce Memorial Church Hall on Tuesday, February 26 from 10.30amnoon and every fortnight thereafter - March 12, March 26 and April 9. No experience is necessary. If you play a musical instrument then bring it along. Refreshmen­ts will be provided. GALA FUNDRAISNG

A family prize bingo will be held on Saturday, February 23 in the community centre, doors open at 6.30pm, eyes down for 7pm. Free entry only £8 per book with some great prizes and only 50p for a kids game.

SWI NEWS

The next meeting will take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 20 in the community centre. Speaker Alan Clater will give an illustrate­d talk on The Families of Bannockbur­n House and will cover the general history of the house, the people who owned or occupied it over the years, and the proposed future of the house now that it is in community ownership. Competitio­ns: a historical fact from 1314 and three hyacinths any colour . All members and visitors welcome. The meetings will provide a variety of speakers, activities, outings, raffles and refreshmen­ts. The next meeting will be today (Wednesday) when there will be a Burns themed event. Entry £2. The service on Sunday will begin at 11am. All welcome, creche available. Club 1-2-6 for young people living in the area, meets monthly on Sundays at 7pm in the hall.
